He did the same thing in the 3rd......halfway through but without Reed, not a single good shooter.

Ime leans into defensive first players, and when challenged leans harder - he isn't a great coaching mind by any stretch of the imagination.

He consistently gets outcoached.......consistently.

Embarrassing loss and we are not currently contenders are two separate statements.

This is not the first ham-fisted loss to a lottery team this year. We are not blowing out the teams we’re supposed to. We lack that killer instinct and the ability to shift gears and impose our will on lesser teams.

 

Why is a loss without Alpi and Adams to a Mavs team with AD bringing his "A" game embarrassing?

 

Ironic - early in the year when we were #1 in def and #2 in NET a ton of fake fans on this board were talking about the easy schedule.

And now we aren’t contenders bc we’re struggling against those teams?

Nevermind that 60 mins of Alpi and Adams was missing - nevermind we were just up 30 the last few games - do you see the fake fan conundrum?

You blowout weak teams and you’re phony, you lose to weak teams and you’re not a contender?

Tired of that uneducated misinformed bs.

 

AD’s 2025 ‘A’ game indeed. His +/- was -4. This isn’t AD of five years ago.

Because if you have championship aspirations you don’t lose to bottom feeders. You could lose to any team on any given night, but more than half our losses are to bottom feeders. We’re getting outcoached and outworked.

Does anyone have an update on Alpi's injury, like how bad it is, and how long he will be out?

 

Phoenix just defeated the Thunder. I was hoping it would go to OT and they'd be even more exhausted tomorrow, but Booker saved them from that.

And this is why you sign a good 3rd string center OR trust that a Jabari, KD, Tari, Amen and Reed starting 5 can hold it all down.

 

I know your elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top, but Dallas with a healthy and motivated AD is not a “bottom feeder”.

In other news, OKC is a measly 6-4 in their last 10 games. They should probably also blow it up what’s the point anymore. 6-4 is just awful.

 

We’ll agree to disagree on 13-23 Dallas’s tier in the NBA. “Motivated” AD hasn’t played in a NBA game since the bubble.
