We won plenty of games against elite teams last year - but with defense. The shot making capability is obviously better this year, but we are not getting enough stops in crunch time (so far) and without a floor general, the need for Sengun/KD to do a lot of work handling the ball and getting into the offense I don't think is a recipe for success in the postseason.

I just would like to see better results late in games against the top competition. Understanding we were this close to winning a couple of them.

Last year the Rockets had an elite or very close to elite defense. However, the offense was not elite - it wasn't good enough to win a playoff series even.

This year we are seeing some of the cost of having an elite offense - it is very hard to focus on defense at the same level.

FWIW I think that the Rockets are a far better offensive team without FVV. They are not as good defensively - but the upside is also higher.

I didn't think the Rockets last year would get past the first round - I think that that this team (if healthy) makes it to the second round and possibly out of the second round.

Eason and DFS have barely played so far - and I believe that Reed will get better as the season progresses.

At this point last year the Rockets were 15-8 and this year they are 16-7

This year they are +10 and last year +5

This year 3/5 in OF/DEF rating

Last year 13/4 in OF/DEF rating

    What a creep.
3:30 in the morning, stalking a post from a game a week ago. So pathetic.
Also, that call was proven to be wrong.
But yeah, that’s an emotional meltdown.

What a clown, at this point you deserve pity
