Why'd you expect a coaching staff to make improvements? That's not their job!

 

I haven’t seen 2nd defense effort at all from all of our guys except Reed but his 2nd defense effort is like hitting them with wet noodle

 

KD's ability to hit wide open threes at a consistent rate has been disappointing. I've always seen KD as an automatic bucket anywhere on the floor if he was given any daylight, but in his tenure here so far, he has not seemed (to me at least) to hit good 3 point looks at a beneficial rate.

 

The biggest achilles heel of the Rox will always be the least emphasis on 3s. If Ime had a brain he would be stressing this team start bombing from 3.

Rox 5/16 Clippers 10/22

A 3 is 50% more than a 2 Rox always need to be hyper efficient and try so much harder on defense and boards to make up for that 3 pt difference.

 

You know it’s really amazing that they are red hot from 3 and then we go into zone and they keep cooking us….bro coaching staff are hilarious

 

Not watching but I expect another loss cause the clippers suck and we can beat sucky teams

 

Not too sad about the half. If your opponents shoot over 50% and make over 10 3s a half, you tip your hat and move on. I don't think the Clippers can keep up shooting like that.

 

Rockets need to play at home more then...

 

You shouldnt need a pg to beat a bottom dweller when you have Sengun and KD.

 

KD is a liability. Should have never traded Jalen and Dillon...

 

But you keep leaving them open at 3

Okogie has been a pleasant surprise and he's outplayed his contract but the fact that he's starting for us is a big issue.

 

Biggest problem with the zone is that Amen is taken off the ball a lot of times and more chasing around instead of being on the ball more.

The man first team all defense and as they said, finished 5th in DPOY for his on ball defense. Let him play it.

 

On the bright side, I don't have to work tomorrow but I'm fairly confident I'll be waking up pissed off at yet another Rockets loss to a lottery team.
