    He looked pretty good w/Jordan in the backfield. This is a further indictment on Caley....where has this guy been?

    The ineptitude in play calling in the Red Zone, now this! Its clearly Caley is in over his head.

    It used to be that a QB having an elite defense was actually considered a “weapon” when evaluating performance (see: the Brady v. Manning debates for one prominent example). You’re more likely to consistently benefit from things like advantageous field position and going against a fatigued defense. When a team’s strengths are more concentrated on that side of the ball, it still benefits the QB and offense in general, just not in the more obvious ways.
