    At least the condors are doing OK. They've gone from 22 total in 1982 to 8 wild nesting pairs in 2002 to over 500 wild nesting pairs today. Condors are now found in California, Arizona, Utah, and Baja Mexico.

    Heard a story yesterday about how much Southerners wish they could have snow for Christmas. F that. I think the redeeming grace of Houston weather is that you can do Christmas in a t-shirt and shorts. I didn't sweat my ass off all summer hoping I could freeze my ass off in winter. Houston winter is freaking awesome.

    Eh, I can do with weather in the 50s for a couple of months. I don't wear long pants much these days and I need to see how much they've shrunk over the year.

    No wonder driving from Houston to West Palm Beach is such a boring drive. Most of your time is spent in the 2 flattest states in the country.

    That's a loooooong ****ing drive. Probably the best food on the way for a road trip, though.
