He doesn’t really get any shots within the offense. They guard him very tight. Most of the time he‘s only open when KD iso‘s but KD will always shoot it and not look to pass.

That is a much better decision from Amen when getting it wide open beyond the line.

But boy did I want Reed to pull up for that triple off the intercept.

I **** on Ime a lot because I disagree with a lot of his in game decisions, which is why I think he deserves credit for his decision to leave Reed out there despite his struggles. That's the kind of thing that helps a player get their confidence back and not feel like they are walking on eggshells.

I feel like if they're guarding Reed really tightly he's already doing a large part of his job by helping our spacing.

I guess I'm still just not sure what his actual talent level is as a shooter. He was so bad last season, and he's mostly been very good this season, but he still has these games where he just bricks everything, and the sample size isn't that large yet.

I want him to prove he can be an elite floor-spacer before he starts doing a ton of creating his own shot. Like, if he can get open off the dribble, go for it, but he needs to do a good job at that split second decision of whether he's really open enough and has enough time not to rush it.
