I like Kelly just fine, but I'm very much a 20th century type of voter, and he's a 20th century type of pol. I don't think people care at all about astronauts anymore. That's an obsolete notion, from what I can tell.
I like Kelly. I like his background. I like that he isn't part of the extreme wing of a party. BUT, he doesn't have buckets of charisma. That video that's throwing daggers about him being in Iraq while Trump was jacking off or whatever, required him to read his own biography from a printout, which he conveniently held up enough that you noticed he was holding it. He couldn't get 5 words out without looking down to read his script. And that was a written document about HIM. I don't think we're in an era where politicians like that can get elected president anymore. General electorate wants celebrity, pizazz, gravitas, etc. They consume information through tik tok and other short hits.
As opposed to say, bland-ass Salvadoran food, chicken and rice, pupusas and such. East African food is delicious.
But do they charge you 8,000 dollars if you ask for an additional scoop of chicken like at Chipotle??
Chipotle was so good, originally. Haven't been to one since I left Houston in '08 but you hear various similar horror stories about them now.
