As many rockets fans have come to realize, while Ime Epstein has done a fine job at instilling his "culture" on this team, it is clear that he does not have the same cunning and cerebral nature of the truly elite coaches within the league. What we need is someone who can go above and beyond. When are we going to get somebody who actually exceeds expectations? When do we get our Mark Daigneault, Jordon Ott, Will Hardy? The Steve Kerr to our Mark Jackson?? The Joe Mazulla to our Ime "how bad do you want to start for me " Sudoku?
