Ok, I wasn't sure how I felt about this, but then I saw the clip with the AT-ATs and that old Star Wars tingly feeling came back. I'm sure they'll get my money, even if this sucks.
I didn’t like it. The trailer seemed like a mash up. Some of it looked good like the at ats, and the beach flyover, but really most of it felt like the tv show.
Umm...that's going to make a lot of money they tell me. A bunch of very smart people involved. Very smart.
A mediocre S1 was saved by the novelty of Grogu. Disney ran two more seasons that were progressively worse as the novelty wore off. S3 was so terrible it made this show an unsalvageable dead horse. Despite this, Disney seems to believe people want another season of this joke of a show. I truly don't get it.
Honestly...not an exciting trailer and the CGI is a little cringe. It seems like the main selling point is 'more mando' and anything worthy of a movie. If my kids want to go I'll take them, otherwise it's streaming for me.
The first trailer for the show was so different. Also, poor Gina had a job back then and didn't have to fight Rhonda 15 years too late.
