    Giving the foul in the backcourt in order to reduce their time to score by nearly a tenth of a second and allowing an advance of the ball and we end up with two extra fouls and a four point play (maybe more)/

    Don't just give a pointless foul because you can.

    They are taught to make it appear like it’s a foul and put the onus on the refs to see it correctly.
