    But really I think American protests are performative and accomplish virtually nothing.

    Take a lesson from the Europeans.

    When some elected asshat does something illegal over there they start shutting down vital infrastructure.

    It's actually pretty funny, they even had a "No Kings" protest in the UK....despite the fact that they have a king.

    It's pretty much just the newest excuse for the bedwetters to get out there and scream impotently at the sky for a bit. So long as they don't break too much or hurt too many innocent people this time around, no one will care.
