How did Kobe walk to the free throw line and make 2 free throws when he tore his Achilles in 2013 playoffs?

Tatum wanted to be Kobe so bad he got the same injury. What are the odds?

Sheesh, talk about rough, especially in such a big game, where he was balling the **** out and the way it happened too. Brutal!! Hope he can fully recover if that’s even possible.

Already had surgery... sounds like a worst case scenario.

Tatum's injury took all the joy out of the Knicks winning last night, but hearing he's already had surgery today feels like another gut punch.

"Injuries happen" and "he's already been paid" come to mind in situations like these, but this is very sad.

Immediate surgery ain't bad in that situation --- they can already plan with rehab....

Wow....guys like Porzingis are going to exit now....

Yeah either this is way too early and he shouldn’t come back this season or the advancement in the medical field is progressing exponentially.

I wish Tatum the best but he isn't returning this season.

If he's really doing well I could understand bringing him back 10, 20 games before the playoffs to get everyone back in rhythm with him being on the court. Seems crazy to have him on the court scrimmaging before the all-star break even hits though. They're still T-2 in the east without him so it's not like they've been struggling.
