The problem with the Astros hitting is that this team sucks at hitting baseballs in the zone. Other teams would crush these kind of pitches or put them in play and we just foul off pitches that should be nailed before striking out on bad balls.

Walker is not a free swinger.

He's just old with 0 bat speed and opponents know it. They just spam fastball knowing he can't catch up to it.

Even if he's patience, they just spam fastball right down the middle.
