I would bet heavily against that. He isn’t a major league pitcher. No one is going to sign a guy with command issues and a fastball that sits 90-91.

LMAO no team is paying McCullers $17M next season much less the Rays. If we decided to cut ties, he will go unclaimed and we will be on the hook for the $17M. He'll then be able to sign with whomever for the league minimum - I don't even think the Rays would be interested in that.
