Trump, much as I hate him, and despite being Genocide Don along with Genocide Joe, probably will deserve the Nobel Peace Prize if he actually achieves peace in Ukraine before Ukraine completely loses everrything, but not until this happens. We don't want to do what the Nobel Committee did when they during the initial excitement over Obama gave Obama the Nobel before he did anything just based on him saying some nice things. He never did much for peace. No more just hoping the recipient will do something in the future.
i agree that obama did nothing to deserve the nobel, but even if trump ended the ukraine war today he doesnt deserve it either. his actions, waffling and words over the last 7 months have only emboldened putin to kill more innocent people than would have otherwise happened. trumps subservience to putin and his hostility towards zelinsky have caused great damage. he flip-flopped on his demands for a ceasefire after meeting with his love vlad. how many times has he set a deadline for putin only to let it pass without doing anything? he has imposed tariffs on almost all our allies, but none on russia. trumps weakness and his love for putin have been on full display for the world to see. he is an obstacle to ending the war. same goes for israel/gaza. trump has emboldened netanyahu to kill more innocent people.
