This is a thread about Trump corruption. Why can't MAGA folks and those claiming not to support Trump just come in and give their viewpoint on the subject at hand? They just use whataboutism instead.

It's like coming in on a thread about a murderer and saying, "What about so and so. He killed people too." Whataboutism is a sad way to accept what's going on right now. Its interesting how you made no comments on the thread titled The Most Corrupt Self-Enrichment Scheme in U.S. Presidential History about the crypto grift by the Trump family. Nope, just crickets.

Seriously? He pardoned him for the crimes he was charged with, as well as everything he did or "may have done" for 10 years and 11 months, ranging from January 1, 2014 to December 1, 2024.

Sure, except the one that actually pressed charges against a former President (the only one to ever do so). You are blind where Biden is concerned. I understand he made you a lot of money. UAE Sheikh secretly acquired 49% of Trump's World Liberty Financial days before inauguration: WSJ

An investment vehicle backed by the Spy Sheikh secretly acquired a 49% stake in WLF for $500 Million
just days before Trump 2.0's inauguration, according to a Wall Street Journal investigation published Saturday.

The deal, signed by Eric Trump on behalf of the project four days before the January 2025 inauguration, was never publicly disclosed. The buyer was Aryam Investment 1, an Abu Dhabi entity backed by Tahnoon, the UAE's national security adviser and brother to UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, the Journal reported.

Under the agreement, half of the $500 million was paid upfront, with $187 million flowing to Trump family-controlled entities and at least $31 million going to entities affiliated with the family of Steve Witkoff, the real estate magnate who co-founded World Liberty and was later named U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East. Witkoff's son Zach is the current CEO of the project.

According to the Journal, the agreement saw roughly $187 million flow to Trump family entities and $31 million to Witkoff family entities.

 

In May 2025, months after the deal between Tahnoon and World Liberty, the U.S. agreed to allow the UAE to purchase hundreds of thousands of advanced artificial intelligence chips from American chipmaker Nvidia. The agreement called for a fifth of the chips to go to Tahnoon’s own AI company, G42.

The agreement would permit the UAE to import 500,000 of Nvidia’s H100 chips per year — the most advanced chips that the American company produces. This would accelerate the desert sheikhdom’s ability to build data centers needed to power its AI models.
