If the Mariners win today, they will be able to get within 1 game for the AL West lead in the series at Seattle following the All-Star break.

 

He just threw a 93 mph sinker followed by a 94 mph four seam fastball. That’s concerning.

 

Hunters in pitching himself out of Cy Young contention with these last 2 starts

 

Half the regulars are on the IL. Pitching staff even worse.

 

I swear ever since Bregman tried trolling him by posting the back to back to back homerun's on social media prior to playoff game against Eovaldi, he's been shutting down the Astros.

 

Well at least we won last night. Thought it was over after that Garcia hit with our shitty lineup that was in the game because of Joe. A 6 game losing streak going into the break would have really sucked

 

Yeah the pitching staff is the main blame for this bad homestand no doubt

 

damn. if only tuve did that for his first AB.

 

Can anyone explain to me these 2 ****ing things:

1) Why do we always suck in the 1st few innings? Did we forget to eat our Wheaties?
2) This motha****in' ******* mother****er Adolis Garcia. Why is this ****ed up steroid freak hitting HRs on us when he sucks against the rest of the league?

Hunter Brown hasn’t pitched much on 4 days rest this year. I know it’s the “norm”… but not all these young guys have that preparation/routine down to a science yet. Something to watch going forward.

Typically when his command is off, it’s due to fatigue/overuse. He’s on track to demolish any career innings this year. Framber/Hunter have been carrying the load big-time out of necessity… but these guys are probably going to need a brief rest/skip at some point (beside the ASB).

 

The Dodgers were probably wondering why Christian Walker was lighting them up while he sucks against the rest of the league. It’s hard to explain

I hope there's a creative way they can somehow get out of Walker's contract before it's up. One of the worst offensive 1b bats in mlb.
