Yep, said in another thread he’s exactly what we need next year. Not that that’s a hot take.

I've watched some highlights of his, and the fluidity of motion and the swag he plays with reminds me of Kobe.

Well Kobe just copied MJ who copied Dr. J. Does he remind you at all of Dr. J?

I have now. Looks like a future star of a game of horse somewhere.

Nah he doesn't really. He reminds me of Kobe specifically. Similar like Anthony Edwards is much more MJ - very explosive athlete. Kobe was way smoother/fluid on the court.

Haven't dove too much into his game but says a lot to be the #1 prospect in a class consisting of AJ and the Boozer twin.

As a Jayhawk alum, I really thought he’d be the unquestionable #1 pick earlier this year. Talent-wise, he should be. But I’m starting to question his competitive drive. All the other guys are playing. Self should be pushing back against his parents/agent. I’m convinced they’re who’re holding him out.

If Vecenie is right, the PR team around Peterson is doing a pretty shitty job of not making that clear...it's clearly affecting how he's perceived even in the circle of hoops "experts."
