I think he would be a great MLE signing. I didn’t want to trade Cam for him on an expiring contract (just a 1-yr rental), but I love him as an MLE signing. Great 3&D player and a true playoff-caliber rotation guy.

i thought he just declined his $15.4 million player option, why would he take only the NTMLE ($14.1mil.)? it must be a S&T for a bigger number (probably have Jock's contract involved)

I hope they do play bari at the 5 for stretches this yr. In fact, I hope they don’t add a 3rd center because I see Bari as filling that role..

 

The question would be is his shot legit. Basically has a Brooks like role.

 

The Rockets are stacked at the 4. DFS would fit as a SF (assuming his shot is legit).

Eh..lukewarm on this..especially if it means losing Cam. I'd rather get a guard that can ease some of the scoring burden from Durant. Someone that can drive and attack the rim and a decent shooter. DFS is on the older side and is redunant with Amen, Tari and Bari.
