    obama’s foreign policy results are pretty much universally considered terrible by both sides of the aisle

    I have been very critical of President Obama's foreign policy record - and there are several major mistakes he made. However, I would point out that the foreign policy record of the President before him was worse, and the record of the President's after him has been abysmal as well.

    None of them were all that great - part of it is that a lot of times there are no good options.

    Nixon wasn’t good.

    Vietnam was poorly handled.

    Nixon supported a lot of authoritarian regimes that were “the bad guys”.

    He absolutely destroyed any positive relations with India.
