We have all talked so much **** about Dubon and Joe playing him too much… He’s slowly becoming one of our best hitters lmao
we know a good hitter is somewhere in there. he did have a 20 games hit streak back in 2023. i don't think most people are mad at him. just disappointed.
So glad McCullers gave up the idea of not stressing his arm by avoiding his curveball. Once he started leaning on that pitch his slider became a lot more effective and he was actually looking like a major league caliber pitcher. His fastball still looks worthless but the last 2-3 innings were encouraging that he can actually have some value leaning on his curve and slider and mixing in his change to keep hitters off balance. Of course, that pitch mix increases his odds of getting hurt again.
I've been sick of him for a long time. But put him at 2nd and leave Rodgers off this roster I always say.
The fact that Dubon has a higher OPS than Walker is laughable. I miss Bagwell. Hell I'd take Gattis right now
