It's hilarious that the fans of the young, athletic, high flying team is complaining about fatigue when they are playing against a team whose core players are all over 34, and had to play in a play-in game before this series. If those guys aren't tired, the Rockets players shouldn't either.

Exactly! With this narrative, we must have been fatigued all season because we finished bottom 5 in free throw percentage...I guess fatigue was not a factor of us getting #2 seed in the West...smh these threads are becoming silly

If I counted correctly, here is the breakdown of missed FTs by quarter:

    1st 4
    2nd 24
    3rd 9
    4th 6

Um, yeah, fatigue, because there are so many 2nd half and 4th quarter misses. Oh, wait!

Looks like the % difference isn't significantly different quarter to quarter. Interesting.

We were already bad so of course fatigue makes it worse. How are people trying to deny it? We can agree on that at least. If it’s a good enough excuse is another thing.

I hope game 5 blows up the stupid argument fatigue was the reason for missing FTs.

    It’s more mental than fatigue.

The Lakers and Timberwolves both ran 8 man rotations.

The Bucks and Pacers ran most 8 man rotations.

The Nuggets and Clippers have been running 8 man rotations.

Same with the Knicks and Pistons.

Hell - the Warriors are running an 8 man rotation......

So I don't think it is because of the Rockets running an 8 man rotation, I think it is because the Rockets are not a good shooting team. Sengun isn't a good free throw shooter, and Steven Adams isn't really either. The only one missing more than usual is Green.

The Rockets are just not a good offensive team as constructed.
