He seemed to be unhappy since he's been drafted, the happiest he has been was when he dunked on Lebron and had some insane dunks 1 year ago......

C'mon man. West moved up to draft Kobe because he thought he would be one of the best ever.

 

West thought that, but no one else did, he as a 19 year old kid who shot airball after airball in the playoffs....

anyway, not saying Cam is or isn't Kobe....at all, saying you have to give time to find out who they are.

People tend to overate Cam on this forum. He can put up points quickly in certain, usually low leverage, situations then people act like its a crime that he doesn't get minutes. The truth is: He's a ball stopper, not a very good passer, not a very good decision maker, Not a good 3 point shooter, not a good defender, and generally doesn't seem like he fits the Rockets team concept very well. He is pretty good on the fast break, but if he get the ball in any other situation its dribble, dribble, dribble, straight line drive and barrel into the defender. He doesn't even finish well when he gets to the rim in half court situations. He has potential, but he is not going to be playing for this team in the playoffs, and that is the right call by Ime.

 

They thought he needed to work on shooting, not that he wouldn't be great. He was IN there to close a playoff game. They let HIM take those shots. Everyone knew the work Kobe was putting in. They just thought he was full of himself.

 

All GREAT players are full of themselves, every single one.

They got it wrong, he is coachable ....but probably one of the guys that is performing the worst this year compared to last year.

 

Cam is 100% gone in the off-season, especially since we'll be picking up another young prospect from the draft.

Cam is too one dimensional and as we can see, you either evolve like Jalen (improved defensively) or Ime won't give him minutes.

Personally, I believe Cam can still be a star level talent on another bottom feeding team that needs a starting scorer, maybe like the Bulls. I just hope we get a decent return for him.

That’s why I said back around the trade deadline it’s better to trade Cam now. There’s folks around the nba who still think he’s worth the gamble not name Ime. And I always been against holding a okayer against there will when it’s obvious the relationship isnt going to work.

 

Green has never been a ball stopper, nor has he ever had bad attitude.

Stick to your KPJ better than Green narratives.
