    So how does this hand is part of the ball work.

    I get if you block first and follow through, but how is it a legal play to hit the ball and the hand at the same time essentially and it be a legal play? I guess I just don't understand the logic of it.

    I’m not sure myself. But I know Jabari has benefited from that rule a couple of times this season on replay challenges.
