This trade was totally about not paying Luka that $350 million, There is no way any GM should trade a Luka for the most injury prone guy next to Joel Embid in the NBA.

Mavs fans already got the full Anthony Davis experience just after 1 game. Plays great and looks dominant for a few quarters. Then gets injured and is now out for at least multiple weeks.

 

Just the Rockets luck to lose a game against AD before he falls into shambles.

if Dallas ends up in the lottery and they get the first pick, you know the league is rigged. The NBA would be handing them the first pick because the Mavs did the league a solid and sent Luka to their golden franchise.

Apparently "surgery is not ruled out", assuming if he opts for surgery that will end his season. You see deals like this and think maybe you are over reacting and there is something we do not know, but it turns out this was as obvious as it seemed. They will get their #1 overall pick when the time is right.

hearing him speak is like a 6th grader who forgot his homework

by far the worst trade in nba history in addition to being a huge betrayal. not just to fans, but too many inside the organization . i was born in dallas and can say this isnt one where things will go away after a few months. Worse yet, he was sent to LA. Every thing Luka will be in your face and highlighted nationally for the next decade. Ain't gonna be no escapin!
