I thought I saw a poll stating like 96 percent Canadians don’t want to join the US. So Trump is pushing more division amongst it closest Allies and biggest trading partner. Absolutely stupidity. So if the people of Greenland don’t want to join the US and Danish people don’t want to give up territory like you said don’t care what they think. How are you going take Greenland?

 

One of the points in the video is that Greenland is part of Denmark but not PROPERTY of Denmark to sell. Rather is is more like a union of independent countries - it would be like the UK selling Scotland. Ultimately, the final arbiters of Scotland are the Scots. So it's not Trump that is the limiting factor here to a sale.

He can definately invade and take it or whatever, and he could possibly (extremely unlikely) get the Greenlanders to agree to become part of the USA, but Denmark doesn't strictly OWN it to sell.
