Well the section about vulnerabilities talks about the Baltic Sea and how it forms a continuous link along Baltic Sea through Poland.

Google is your friend for further learning. The gist of it is putting more of the coastline of the strategic Baltic Sea in NATOs hand, much like how the addition of the Nordic countries puts nearly all of the Baltic Sea under NATO . Also because of the Baltic States, the NATO border runs along the Baltic See all the way down to the Black Sea forming an eastern wall.

So basically the Baltic States are important because of geography.

WTF do you think war mongering means? Corrupt politicians stay in office by feeding the MIC war machines in their districts and states while people like Cheney ( who is now a Democrat) profits. War profiting is one of the most evil things and you support it. Idiot.

Cheney is not a Democrat. That claim is untrue.

He is still a Republican. Own it. I own that he endorsed Harris. Harris never endorsed Cheney or his views.

Fascinating that you have talked about all Republicans not being like MAGA but now that Harris lost, Republican Cheney endorsed her you try and disown him.

Just like all the white supremist and extremist who endorsed Trump made him a racist. Did you ever call Trump a racist? Did you take the time to correct others for doing that? Its fascinating how the narrative changes when the tables are turned.

White Supremacists endorsing Trump isn't what made most people call him racist. It was Trump's words and actions.

That's also what made white supremacists endorse Trump.

    how the turn tables:

Zelensky Signals He’s Open to Negotiating a Peace Deal
In shift, the Ukrainian president indicates he would accept a cease-fire with Russia if his country obtains NATO membership

I think that would be a game changer. We wouldn't know it what ways exactly.

What's the point? Putin won't accept the terms. He didn't invade Ukraine so as to expand NATO to his doorstep. He invaded Ukraine to move his doorstep toward NATO, and work with Trump to weaken or dismantle NATO as well.

Putin is open to a cease fire, if Ukraine agrees to return to being a Russian vassal state.

I've been watching yt vids about the ballistic missile Putin launched on Ukraine and it seems to be a cheaper and effective way to reduce hardened ranges like airfields and underground complexes. There aren't any airplumes in the vid because it's thought to have penetrated deep underground.

The hypersonic payloads are kinetic relying on speeds around mach 10 to deliver their damage.

It's "cheap" in the sense that China would need to spend a third of its conventional missiles to take out an airfield in Japan whereas one of those ballistic missiles with 36 individual kinetic warheads would do roughly the same amount of damage since it's too fast and lower flying for most air defenses we use.

If we really have to back up Ukraine, maybe starving Russia through attrition instead of a full on effort really was the better choice of the two.

Short vid about the missiles themselves

Unlikely: Russia withdraws from all occupied territory, including Crimea and Donbas, UKR w/draws from Kharkiv. IOW, pre-2014 status quo.

Possible: Russia withdraws from Crimea, but keeps Donbas; UKR w/draws from Kharkiv. Some sort of freedom of navigation of the Black Sea is guaranteed. NATO status is punted.

Alternative: Russia keeps territories occupied in 2014, including Crimea, UKR w/draws from Kharkiv, Rump UKR joins NATO.
