It wasn’t that more people voted for Trump, it was that 10-15 million less people voted for Harris. Democrats didn’t show up at the polls. Trump will end up with around his 2020 total. It is the same thing that happened to Hillary. Many are not ready for a woman President.

Agreed, they need to be decisive on Immigration and they waiting till the bottom of the 9th to do something and in politics people dont care even though we had a bipartisan bill, right or wrong trump ran on that and was effective. The Latino swing was huge..................and one thing I will say, is the misinformation campaign worked, I am sad that were not smarter than that. I really thought Americans would never elect this dude again, but I was 100% wrong

I tip my hat to the gop and will lose with as much grace as I can muster. As another poster mentioned, the Dems have no clear cut leader but I would like Fetterman to start rising up the ranks

I don’t think Fetterman is healthy enough for it and/or won’t be moving forward.

It’s a physically demanding job and he seems to have rather large health concerns.

 

Go find those rural counties and I bet they mirror those numbers in reverse

100%. And it won't take long. I suspect even before his inauguration he'll do some ridiculously embarrassing crap, and before the guy is sworn in most of these Trump voters if it comes up will either just lie that they voted for Trump or try to fool you that they ONLY voted for him as a "lesser of two evils" because Kamala was just SOOOOO bad.

We've seen this show a 1000 times, and the sequel is always worse. America doesn't get to be excused like they were in 2016 mostly, and instead the focus was on how bad Hillary was, or the Russians, or Comey or whatever. This time America OWNS TRUMP. You guys knowingly put him there, and the egg will be in your face very soon (not your face of course just in general). Have fun trying to dance around it when he predictably does Trump type of crap very soon that this time has much more harmful outcomes to the country.

Even on the economics. There is NO WAY we are going to stay at just 2.50 cents a gallon for gas during his term. No way. Even if nothing else changes but gas prices, a Trump economy will be worse even before the tariffs, and the likely housing surge that'll drive up prices of homes again assuming Trump pressures the fed to lower interest rates.
