    For good or bad - DeSantis runs Florida like his fiefdom.

    It allows him to act very fast and some critics say without recourse.

    Regardless of politics - he has shown he can act fast when he wants or needs to.

    This - we cannot stop innovation and if we try to, the rest of the world will not and we will fall behind.

    Union workers deserve to get paid, though the automation protections seem like a stretch and callback to old car union days where they bullied for every concession while getting fat and lazy.

    We're probably 20-40 years away from modernizing and upgrading our ports into best of class among competition. Manual labor seems like a dying breed, but there are still a lot of things a robotic arm and camera can't distinguish.
