    My guess is precutionary.

    If he kept limping coming off the field I would be really worried.

    But it looked like the initial trauma was already wearing off.

    No twisting of the knee, most likely bruised the lateral part of it (or could be due to a previous injury of inflammation) My doctor's guess is no internal damage and play on after rest.

    I think Yordan was just embarrassed he tore his pants a bit. Not used to showing off so much knee. Unfortunately they couldn't tape it up on the field.
