If we don't add a starter our chances of GETTING to the playoffs are pretty low

There is nothing going on with Garcia right now that should make us think he is going to be a contributor to getting to the playoffs this year. And none of us have any idea what the situation is with JV

    I mean yea

    Framber
    Ace Brown
    McCullers
    Blanco
    JV
    Garcia

    Hader
    Pressley
    Abreu
Any of the above starters who isn't starting in that series

    Whooooop Whoooooo

But yea if you hope for that in one hand and **** in the other you will be left with one handful of ****

GO GET A STARTER...OR REALLY TWO

Sign Paxton, trade for a guy like Sears. Give up 3 top 10 guys plus a couple of young low minors guys for Paredes. The only guy that should be off the table is Matthews. This includes Bloss.

Does this leave any minor leaguers for a legit bat?

Paredes is a 30 home run guy with 3 years of control at a reasonable price. Fills a need now and later. He's a dead pull hitter and has 16 homers now. If he was playing in MMP it's projected that he would currently have 24 homers. A perfect fit.

I wonder what it would take to get Sears now that he's been lights out over the last 3 starts.

Okay... didn't realize Paredes was a bat.

Checking baseball-reference, Paredes also seems to bring major versatility with his multi-diversified infield skills.

Yes, indeed, he is a hitter and fielder who uses both glove and bat.

    Helmet too.

I've not seen Meyers lose his helmet lately. Though, that could just be a product of West Coast games.

He really is the perfect match for the Astros. They should pay a premium if necessary to get him. Great for this year and when Bregman walks. Sign Tucker!!!!!

Dude's going to end up missing near half the season because of a "bruise." I wish the team wouldn't lie so much about injuries.

Bregman being terrible early on brought that down tremendously

This was prior to Abreu's scoreless, 1.000 WHIP inning today.

There's also a possibility that the team medical staff may be that bad...
