    I loved him sneaking behind the runner at first and taking a throw to pick him off. I Don't remember the game.

    It felt like for years he would make an unlikely, uncommon, high I Q. play every couple of weeks.

    Getting old sucks.

    it was against Angels. i want to say taylor ward but i could be wrong against the player. I know for sure it was the angels at MMP.

    one could argue astros could have won in 2021 or 2023 had the catcher position was able to hit.

    but that's the thing with what ifs. we will never find out.

    Tucker, Brantley and Pena went a combined 10-68 with an OPS around .450 (3 XBH, 2 RBI) in the 2023 ALCS. Bregman and Yordan went 4-41 in the '21 WS. The bottom of the order doesn't matter if the real hitters don't hit.
