Still gotta give credit to this Cougs team. Lose your leader and have a lot of calls not Go their way. Could’ve just folded but they kept on fighting.
You’re proud of these guys for fighting without the leader of the team. But it’s also painful to see how close it was without Shead. With Shead, they win comfortably. Duke wasn’t very good. I almost would have rather been hammered by UConn or Perdue. Losing like this just leaves you with monumental “what ifs.”
We had our chances. Love our team. On to next year. Really thought Sharp's last second 3 was going in. It suck's that Shead was not able to go in 2nd half.
I’ve seen the Cougars a number of times. Depth is having players u trust when others are hurt. Sampson doesn’t use his bench and obviously doesn’t trust it.
