I looked up Jalen's efg% compared to league qualifiers.

He's 137 out of 141 qualifying players.

Don't feel too bad, Cade Cunningham is only slightly higher... as is Demar Derozan.

 

Its like Jalens complete season of 2022 never happened!

You seem to be aware of how bad Jalen is. That's good so we can stop with the silly stat filler numbers.

 

Stone gets Stoned for being too liberal with the Rockets pearls the 8 months or so.
Stone gets Stoned for being too conservative with the Rockets pearls.

My expectations are low. As long as Jalen Green is getting developed, I just don't see much room for someone in the rotation outside a backup center. I think improvement elsewhere is more needed than backup center, but does not look like an ideal time for it unless something changes with Green. I'd guess Stone recoups 1-3 SRPs, but does not get applauded for asset management equivalent to the Stoning he gets any time he trades a SRP or 3. Not sure if he spends a SRP to acquire a shooter or backup center, but will get Stoned if he doesn't (probably gets Stoned if he does as well).

What is silly is thumbing your nose at a 20ppg season because it doesnt suit your position. You COULD acknowledge the reality of that season WHILE you take a sht on him. Neither point is mutually exclusive of the other.

Jalen is scoring 18.5 while being a "bust" ... A few more 30 point games and you will need to move the goal back another 10 yards!
