So many last year. Washington was another one. Hell I’d still take a flyer on Kuntz from last year.

But... again, no one called their draft a disaster. You're creating a strawman. And it was very reasonable to expect - at the time - that the pick would be top 10 (I thought it would be top 5). I mean, lets all slow down and acknowledge that NONE of us saw this season coming. It is awesome and exciting - but I would wager even the most optimistic of us thought .500 would be a dream season.

I don't know... I'm not terribly comfortable with "smart' and "wrong" - none of us really know; we're all guessing and speculating. I would still, to this day, argue the cost was significant. Worth it? Feeling more like it was - but, again: the greatest rookie QB season in NFL history has colored *everything* differently. And that is literally something *no one* saw coming.

The reason I like the deal for WA is that in addition to being a great player, WA is a culture setter with a great work ethic in the locker room.

Did anyone watch this? Didn't even know this was on. How did he do compared to the other QBs?

Yeah just caught that ending. CJ could've easily scored 1 to tie it but he went for the kill and the longest pass (10 points). He nearly got it.
