    Most important thing is to keep CJ clean. Colts had 6 sacks and 9 QB hits in the first meeting. A strip sack on our first possession, after giving up a TD, put us in a big hole. We were down 14-0 under 5 minutes into the game.

    We have to start better. I think the last time we had an opening drive TD was against the Steelers.

    We have been weak the first drive of each half all season. I'm sure there is an exception here or there, but I don't remember it.

    The Texans will make the playoffs for the first time in four seasons with a win at Indianapolis on Saturday night. A look at the scenarios and potential opponents:

    At Buffalo...

    If the Texans, Jaguars and Bills win, Houston would be seeded seventh and play at the No. 2 Bills in the wild-card round.

    At Kansas City...

    If the Texans, Jaguars and Dolphins win, Houston would be seeded sixth and play at the No. 3 Chiefs in the wild-card round.

    Vs. Browns...

    CLEVELAND BROWNS

    If the Texans win and the Jaguars lose, Houston wins the AFC South and would be seeded fourth and host the No. 5 Browns in the wild-card round.

    Out...

    If the Texans lose or tie against the Colts, they do not make the playoffs.

    IF they beat the Colts, I would prefer to face KC. I think they are beatable.

    I always felt like that little as boy was a starter in this league. He just got a raw deal in jacksonville. Best backup in the league imo.

    Back in June I took a quick little trip to New Orleans. While I was there I visited one of their gambling establishments and put a wager on the Texans making the playoffs. If they win I get to take another little trip to cash out...don't do me wrong Texans, don't do me wrong...

    If the Texans and Colts tie AND Jacksonville loses AND Pittsburgh ties or loses, we still get in.

    We've slightly exceeded my admittedly high pre-season estimates for the season which was 500 +/- the 17th game with a chance at the playoffs if we went 9-8. Now I'll be disappointed if we don't win Saturday because my expectations have been raised.

    I just wish I could find the old thread/post where I showed the calculation based on coach, schedule, CJ and Anderson as well as FA pick ups. I'm pretty sure it's a real memory.
