It's too bad the fan vote only counts 50% towards the tally, otherwise we would have a chance to send our franchise player as a starter. Our best hope is that the coaches recognize him and get him a spot as a bench player.

Honestly, even if you're not a Houston fan, you have reason to vote. He has good performance, his fantasy score is quite good and most importantly he is enjoyable to watch. Moreover, he is in this competition when he is only 21 years old.

I don't see a better choice than him in the west other than Jokic and AD. I think he will fight head to head with Sabonis and whoever performs better in the next month will be there.

Even if he doesn't be an All-Star this year, we'll see him make it more than once in the coming years. This is just the beginning.
