Josh Giddey's game is very fun to watch

Stupid question because I have not been following closely:
Did Giddey prey on underage girls (plural) or did he have an underage girlfriend (singular)?

Not saying that having sex with one underage girl is okay, but those two things are very different.

 

A lot has not been cleared up.

For now the story is that he met a girl at a 18+ Bar and they hooked up......and Giddey did not ask for her real ID.

And the family members of said underage girls are now acting against JG due to him being in the media.
(this happened like 2 years ago)

He attracts tons of very young girls at the Thunder games so his preference/fetish might be real.

It is likely the circumstance that young girls like him and he likes young girls type of scenario where he does not have to stalk and prey on them.....it does not make the situation better though.

It likely means that she will help the family get a secret settlement in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement, like what she did with a bunch of Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, and Trump alleged victims.

 

Yeah this looks like dude was 19, at an 18+ club and met a girl - nothing more than that - hell if she is 17, it is even legal.

It will get settled and everyone will move on, dude isn't a pedo, a girl just lied about her age, that is not on Giddey.

Nah he's a pedo and deserves every bit of scrutiny KPJ got. He was in a relationship with this girl and OKC knew it but held on to it. Everybody in that organization is culpable including Sam Presti. Presti isn't nearly as intelligent as he's hyped to be for supporting that criminal Giddey

Yeah, that seems to be what is reported. So he was 19 when she was 15. Now he is 21 and she is 17. I assume that it's just this one same girl.

 

The original title of this thread has gotten a new meaning.

 

I'm pretty sure that wouldn't hold up in court the majority of the time, Giddey just has the means to buy himself out of this issue.

They passed on Sengun because he was a poor shooter and defender... but took the flyer on Giddey. Big yikes on Presti.

 

Giddey is a mirage. You look at him and he looks impressive: size, handle, vision, passing, rebounding, IQ, fluidity… wow!
But his two weaknesses - slow and poor shooter - make him a net negative.

It is the first time I heard from someone that he is slow.......

Him and Dort are likely the first ones that might go regardless......and Dort is real like an undersized big heart.
