I just don't see how UT gets into the Final 4 without major help... These 1st half blowouts that morph into 2nd half close wins against lesser competition surely won't help the cause... And not to mention being about 25% confident that they'll win out any damn way..

Pretty much. His playcalling goes super conservative even though there's a half remaining. Offense can't sustain drives and defense gets gassed with no breaks.
It’s unreal. You get your QB1 back and you call 3 pass plays in the 4th quarter when the game isn’t decided.
The Alabama win still counts for a lot. It's how this team should be playing full games, but isn't. Remember the deep passes in the second half? The big plays? Sark has abandoned all of that once we've had big leads and it's nearly bitten him in the ass three times. Yes, Murphy was playing in two of them, but the inexplicable play calling isn't giving the team a chance to put opponents away. One last night game in Ames is going to be torture.
