I'm sure that's all true. But that the manager of a sports team is the person in your life you hate the most is just kind of sad. Has he affected your apparently successful business or great family in any way? Has he some how hurt you personally? Or did he just not do such a great job in defending the World Series title he won last season? Just think some perspective is needed for many of you.

Dusty won’t be back. Not after going out like this. His time is over as manager for the stros. It’s clearly time for another person. He won a WS and got a chance to try again. Now off you go

I’ll tip jar bet anyone on that

I’m exaggerating … the point is I hate the guy. He is stubborn and stupid. He cost our franchise two titles. Only someone as dumb as he could have pulled that off with this team.

the worst part is that there is a significant part of the fan base that defends him. Its indefensible

Pitching could've given up just 3 runs and the offense still wouldn't be able to overcome it.

Saving Pressly in a 2 run game so he can pitch in a 8 run deficit loss the very next day is the Dustiest Dusty has ever Bakered.

Baker is the sober LaRussa. Likable but stuck in the 90s like Vanilla Ice.

The pitching would have given up less with a catcher that doesn't allow a marathon of stolen bases AND more runs have been scored if Dusty didn't adore Maldy.

Framber falling off a cliff was the biggest reason they didn't make the playoffs.

Framber falling off a cliff was the biggest reason they didn't make the playoffs.

The 2 guaranteed Framber losses didn't leave enough wiggle room like game 1 when they didn't hit to win a 7 game series.

This game is the perfect way to remember him.

Leaving Chas on the bench and letting a player who shouldn't be in the majors (Singleton) bat instead in the most important bat of the entire playoffs.

That's the last move we should remember Dusty for. That's his legacy.
