    Also, I don't know how true the Rambis makes the Lakers bit was but regardless, it just reminds you of how much luck goes into putting together a championship team.

    great episode. i also watched that bird vs. magic documentary that HBO kept suggesting every time i watched winning time. really good and a nice trip down memory lane.

    i finally watched it only because this show leaves me wanting more every week!

    the casting on this show is so good. i know its exaggerated versions of everyone, but just based on looks they really nailed it. the recent arrival of "hippie" rambis is another great example.

    No more Vanilla Thunder (HIMYM) makes me sad.

    The origin story of Patrick's slicked back hair style was a nice touch with the Grease intro song playing in the background.

    Finally binged season 2 and its awesome, even better than last season, the Larry Bird actor is pretty darn spot on with his shot

    this show is just fun, who cares which parts are real

    First disappointing episode of the season. I felt like it was just filler. Still better than any episode of Season 1 though.

    It's okay, it happens in every great mini-series.

    I liked that it gave Kareem some locker-room "**** you, let's go" presence.

    His losing his house and album collection was 100% true...

    Yeah, I remember reading about that years ago.

    Also, according to the podcast, the fans giving him jazz albums was also true. And had a lot to do with him changing his mindset.

    Kareem is a super interesting guy. I'd love to read his autobiography...but he's actually written 22 books. So I wouldn't know where to start.

    He's a fascinating guy, on a whole lot of levels.

    I'll admit, I kinda teared up a bit when the kid gave him his dad's favorite jazz album.
