Past first round picks doesn’t mean anything. 2 guys drafted at the end of the first round in old drafts means literally nothing if those players aren’t anything. Stop pretending like it’s the value of future first round picks.

 

Has Brooks acknowledged the Rockets in anyway yet? Been avoiding Brooks news at all cost.

Brooks to me is a risky deal - he could be a great defensive stopper, he could also be a problem you can't get rid of with those 4 years. I can see it going both ways. Obviously the Rockets are high on him. But man, it does feel like an unnecessary overpay.

 

Why? Jabari hit a GW and the first person he ran to is now a Clipper, who was excited for him. You don’t kick it with folks from your old jobs?

 

I mean, that's the Clippers' problem. I ain't worried about him now that he is no longer with us.

 

It got worse? This is just ridiculous at this point. I can only laugh.

 

90 million? I mean, what an ugly contract, but at least 4 million of it is tied to incentives? Nah, can't do it, horrible contract.

 

How is it getting worse? Like, at this point, I'd rather go into the season with the cap unspent and dealing with the consequences of the salary floor. I was good with Brooks, but there's a point where it makes zero sense financially, and we're crossing it now.
