Thinking back to my middle school years, I knew a kid like this. I remember I rode the bus with him and he always talked about how his family was rich and owned expensive cars and lived in a huge house. The bus use to drop him off near our neighborhood (which was lower income) but he claimed that was his nanny's house.

Anyways, eventually my friend and I invite him to hang out with us one afternoon, and his mom was suppose to pick him up. My buddy and I were excited to see the brand new car he claimed his family owned. Well, mom shows up in an 80's suburban (mind you this was early 2000's), but man we immediately asked him, where the heck the new car was? We immediately started cracking up as well because we could see that he was embarrassed, and eventually he just takes off crying.

The guy was a serious liar. I was gullible at the time, so I believed him, but man, it's crazy the type of **** people make up in their heads.
