    I am sure some fans will complain about the last of pitching depth now… but we have Valdez/Javier/Brown/McCullers/Garcia/Urquidy

    Blanco opened as the long man…

    That is 6-7 starters… that’s a lot of depth. You can’t plan for 3 starters on the IL.

    No way - if it was, it would have magically been a strike.

    In fairness to Bielak, he was screwed on a couple pitch calls that at bat - but grooving a 92 MPH fastball isn’t the answer.

    What team in MLB handles that differently? The Astros just won a WS largely because of their depth in pitching.

    It was a hitters 3-1 count so you'd expect a ball in the zone. It was a high strike so I wouldn't be surprised if Madly called for a top of the strike zone FB.
