    Do you think Maldy has gotten complacent? Garcia has lost his command. Hopefully he gets it back because his pitches are still filthy. He just isn't fooling anyone when he is way off his spots.

    I think the Astros (rightfully) chasing Contreras and Murphy left a bitter taste in Maldy's mouth. He even essentially said he would refuse to be a back-up. It's not surprise he's dedicating less time on his off-days with the pitching staff now. It feels like the staff has been bleeding runs in the games he's catched.He's catched every game they've lost so far (2-9 record) and the only wins are with Diaz or Salazar catching.
