Anxiously waiting to see if tomorrow’s game counts.

 

Nets will steal one at home. This should be a easy 4-1. Harden and Embiid are focused on a ring.

 

I would love for the sixers get knocked out as it would certainly increase our odds of picking up Harden. It is probably going to be a sweep though.

 

Goes to show just how much Tilman and KPJ have killed my enjoyment of the NBA to the point I don't pay much attention at all these days.

I didn't even know Brooklyn were in the Playoffs - let alone 6th.

 

Why would you want Harden after another failure? It's like waiting for a three-time divorcee to get divorced again to marry her.

 

Nets gonna surprise, playing with house money, big time. Underrated coach.
Sixers coach... well...

 

Do we want Philly to win so that the Nets blow it up and improve our picks?
Or do we want Brooklyn to win so that Harden comes home?

 

Harden is still a great PG. His ability to set up our young players would help them progress to stardom. I don’t expect us to be competing for a championship in the next 2-3 years, but I do expect with the addition of Harden we will make the play-offs and we will see greater progression from our youth. An ideal off-season would be to pick up Harden in FA and using draft capital to pick up Brown or Bridges who are still young enough to be a big part of a championship level team in a few years. If we draft Scoot, then maybe just go for a low level trade for Conley. If you were to pick up Conley and Brown or Bridges we would probably still be in the playoff hunt.

 

Sixers probably get lazy for a game but this is a sweep or gentlemen's sweep. This is the least interesting matchup in the first round.

Ugh. I’d give up so much for Bridges. He’s probably untouchable now, though.
