No reason Sasser should play tomorrow. We are set to start the tournament as a #1 seed. Just not #1 overall. That's a discussion that has been beaten to death and is what it is. The boatload of talent decided to show up today. When Sasser left we were up by 5. We finished going away winning by 21. Glad to see Roberts and Walker back to themselves. Even Mark had a few good moments. Shead, our most important player was key and kept things going after our best player left with his injury. Assuming Sasser fully recovers from this quad shift or groin strain or whatever it is, his injury may be a blessing in disguise for us. Gave others and our bench a chance to step us and get some important playing time against a quality opponent. We took a team that is used to scoring in the 80's and 90's and held them below 50. Tomorrow's game will be the last game our basketball team will play as part of the AAC. As much as it would be nice to spank either Tulane or Memphis on the way out, our path is set. Even if we win, and both Alabama and Kansas lose in their tournaments, we are set IMO as 3rd #1 seed. The way we play we can beat anybody. Just need to stay alive until the tournament gets back to Houston. That's when things could get very interesting.
UH and UT have the same problem.... You can play all the defense you want, but if you can't score for looong stretches then you're gonna kinda get ****ed against very good teams.
Don’t even dare play tomorrow lol. Kelvin is going to hold him out anyway regardless if he wants to play
That's been the problem forever. The difference this year is we have threats that can ignite suddenly and our free throw shooting is actually passable for once.
Oh I know, I've seen it enough. Same and Same is the solution, hope it's this year. I'm rooting for both of us.
UAB vs Florida Atlantic is a really good game that's about to happen on CBSSN? or something like that.
Paws Up! Another total ambush. Pure silence when Sasser went down, like the sound of a whisper, but we are still the team to beat. And we are now one win away from the 1 seed. Wooo!
If I've been rooting for UH since I knew what college basketball was...about 42 years ago You can maybe root for UT here and there. It won't kill ya ETA: If UH isn't the #1 overall seed, I don't know who should be
