    You kinda do. If you buy a house for 100 and the taxing authority says it’s worth 200, they tax you on the 200 value. 100 of that isn’t realized.

    Agree. There's a big difference between a megachurch, where the Pastor owns a private jet, huge mansion, and is filthy rich from his "charitable tax free" church, compared to a small church that serves the same purpose, but the Pastor isn't reeling in the dough.

    1% of Americans own all the wealth and power, yet there are still a huge group of dumb, brainwashed and struggling Republican Americans fighting against taxing them appropriately because they don't want to agree with a Democrat. SMH

    It is hilarious, but sad at the same time, to see little ordinary guys with secure middle class incomes identify with ideas that support billionaires. Propaganda does work.

    While not a billionaire, I am one of the four no votes. I don't support much in the way of federal taxation. I am also a contributing member. I don't see a lot of Supporting Member banners in this thread though.
