Vikings had sex with everyone. "Oh you think you're Irish, **** you you're part Scandinavian at least, b****." From a cultural standpoint, Vikings were pirates...organized criminal groups for the most part who were more intent on raiding than conquering. They traded with everyone in the world they knew...I don't think being part of a Viking raiding party was a position that was met with a lot of discrimination other than, how effectively can you loot and kick ass?

When @Nook talks about his sexy Scandinavian heritage, I'll never think of him the same.

Actually there were Asians who were upset that the character in 21 wasn't played by an Asian. There were complaints about the Emma Stone playing an an Asian in Aloha and protests over white British Actor Jonathan Pryce playing an Asian character in Miss Saigon including with his eyes taped back to make him look Asian.

 

When I was in Ireland we ran into an old Irish guy and one of the people with me said his family was from Sweden. The old Irish guy hearing that said "Give back what you stole from us".

 

We ****** and ***** everyone for a long time.

We were terrible people.... some of us still are.

Were there black vikings? Yes but not very many of them. Some have tried to argue that because we named each other "__ the black" or "__ the brown" that there were a lot of black Vikings through assimilation but that doesn't really make sense.... we used descriptive hair and eye color terms.

Having said that, there were likely a small number of black Vikings based on where we were known to go.... they would be either elite warriors that asked to join, slaves or women we stole. Over time they would acculturate. There were Russians as well.

Sometimes people venerate us, but we really were terrible people.

My wife is Assyrian so my son is almost guaranteed to be a sociopath with his bloodlines.

Kyiv was founded by Vikings and the first rulers of Kyvan Rus were Norse people who had come down the Dnieper River to raid and trade with Constaninople.

That the Vikings were all the way into North Africa and traded with Arabs they certainly had black people as slaves and it doesn't seem like a stretch that some of those slaves might've proved to skilled enough warriors they were granted freedom and/or status among other Viking warriors.

Also there is evidence that the Vikings had contact with Chinese and other East Asians who traded along the Silk Road. It's possible that some of those might've ended up even in Scandanavia. Although the part with the "Chinese Princess" in the Vikings TV series I thought was terrible.
