RIP Lisa Marie Presley

Seems quite a few people these days are dropping from heart attacks well before you would expect it to happen.

 

That’s unbelievable! She was just at the Golden Globes. Sad. What age did Elvis pass? Elvis was only 42. I thought he was older.

 

42, but he had an entire pharmacy worth of drugs in his system.

Mid 50's is a pretty normal time for a heart attack

WTF?! That's so sad. Another quinquagenarian...

She looked like she would be absolutely wild and fun to hang out with.

Feel sorry for her mom. That's too much death.

Yes my dad had a heart attack when he was 54. That was more than 20 years ago. He had it while swimming laps in a pool and thankfully the lifeguards saw him struggling and got CPR going.

That said 54 these days does seem young especially when that's too close for comfort for many of us. I thought Lisa Marie was older but still sad.

 

It's not too young, the way we eat and take care of ourselves in the USA. Cardiothoracic surgery is a growth industry.

 

It's young when you're not that far off from then.

 

I'm not, which is why I try to take care of myself.

My good friend passed away from a heart attack last year at the age of 41.

Take care of yourselves, people. There are things within your control.

 

Wow......so sad! RIP, hopefully she is reunited with her son and dad. I feel so bad for her mom, no parent should have to bury their child

 

I still try to take care of myself and had a good friend die of an embolism at the age of 36. That said when you see someone of your generation die it is unsettling.
